Is anyone else a fan of these books? I read all seven when I was younger...I remember my grandfather introduced me too them when he used to babysit me, he'd read me the books as a way of trying to get me to sleep (didn't work, I only wanted him to read more and more lol!).

For years I kind of forgot about them as I grew up, but recently I re-read the Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe for the first time in some nine years and found myself falling in love with these books all over again. I've got to re-read the other six because I can't remember them much but I love this series! It is so magical. I love everything about it, from the children to the evil witch, to the mighty Aslan...it's just awesome, I want to read it again. I'm aware that the BBC made a television adaption of the LWW in 1988. I've never seen it but am seriously considering ordering a copy of the DVD. If anyone here has seen this series would you reccomend it to a fan of the book? How's the acting, script, sets etc?

However one thing that I notice now that I completely missed as a child is how much religion the LWW is filled with...it doesn't bother me but I find it funny I never noticed it until re-reading the books as an adult.
