Has anybody else noticed that Peter Boyle looks a little sickly lately? I realize he's getting older and all, but he doesn't look 100%. My friend who's an actor, went to the Sopranos premier this past Tuesday and told me Peter didn't look well and he was wearing a ton of make up. I hope Peter is ok.

I haven't read anything, but I don't think Peter ever fully recovered from the stroke a couple of years back. Looking at the earlier shows, he looks so much healthier....not just a few years younger, but healthier.

I hope he's okay. He seems like a nice guy. :)

exactly, he seems thinner now and a little pale.

He's an excellent actor, ever see his great film Joe? But he does look old and sickly lately, maybe they should lighten his burden on the show.

I just mentioned that to my husband a few weeks ago when we were watching ELR. I thought Peter lookedsort of puffy and over made up. I do hope he is ok. He's my favorite.

I saw him on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show a few months ago, and he didn't seem like he was entirely there. He didn't talk much and didn't seem to be breathing too well. It was very sad.

I've loved him ever since I first saw Young Frankenstein, and I also thought he was just brilliant in that episode he did of The X-Files. I hope he'll be around and able to perform for a long while. He's a unique actor.

Peter Boyle, my favorite character on ELR, does a great job in capturing the essence of men in my Dad's generation.

For once I can agree with the steady ELR posters; I wish godspeed for a recovery if Peter Boyle is ill.

Yeah, was a shock to me too, that's why i mentionned it, Peter was a hippie type apparently, and was friends with lots of famous people, you really have to see him in Joe, he plays an Archie Bunker type so convincingly. Of course he was also a RIOT in Young Frankenstein.

Young Frankestein and the Santa Clause (he played Tim Allen's boss) are the only other things I've seen him in besides ELR.

Anybody notice Peter Boyle hasn't said his famous line "HOLY CRAP" at all this season? NOT IN A SINGLE EPISODE THIS SEASON. I always thought that was a great line. Any idea why?

Maybe they were afraid they were over using it. I don't think so though.I love it.

Peter Boyle has quite an interesting biography. And yes, he and John Lennon were best friends.
