Hi!
I was wondering if the show is still going on. My grandma has a story she wants to send in. Do they still investigate new stories? So would it be a waste of time for her to send the story in or not?

They don't make new episodes anymore, so no.

Your grandma might try submitting it to America's Most Wanted. They still do new stories.

Well, it depends on the story. If it's crime-related (such as a missing person or unsolved homicide), then America's Most Wanted (which airs on Saturday nights on FOX) is the best hope. But if it's not crime-related (such as a lost heir or lost love), then there is, sadly, not much hope of finding a show that would be willing or to do accomodate you on it. :(

Hi! Thanks to all who replied to my post. My grandma's story is about her son Gabriel(my uncle). My uncle died almost 2 years ago because of a gunshot wound to his head on Christmas. We were shocked at his death as we strongly belive he had no reason to commit suicide. (Before his death he had just gotten a new good paying job and just had a baby daughter. He had a lovley house and 3 lovley children and was very happy). My family (My grandma, my dad who is Gabe's brother and my sister and mom as well as some very close family friends) strongly belive my uncle's death was a homicide and that his wife had something to do with his death. This is a long story as there were many many problems with my unlce and his wife. I'll write more later.

Since the story in question is about an alleged suicide that is believed to be a murder, I should add that America's Most Wanted doesn't often (if ever) do "suicide or murder?" cases. You could try that show, but don't be surprise if they decline the offer.
The best hope at this point might be a newsmagazine (such as Dateline, 60 Minutes, or 20/20), a morning show (like Good Morning America), or some show on a cable news channel. Many of those shows have, at one time or another, have done stories similar to your grandmother's. However, there's no big guarantee that they'll accomodate the story request. So my advice is this: hope for the best, and prepare for the worst.
