and he's usually pretty prompt about returning e-mails.

I fedex'd him his tapes - Fedex says he got them on Saturday. I asked him to e-mail me when he got them. No e-mail.

I e-mailed him yesterday. Just checking in. Again, no reply.

He was so highly recommended. I'm a bit concerned.

Does anyone know him? Is he having computer problems or something? I don't stand to lose much, and I dont necessarily believe he's ripping me, I just don't know.

He lives in Los Angeles - his e-mail is el_santo_eterno@yahoo.com

I'm going away for the weekend, and I was hoping to hear from him before then.

Any help would be appreciated! :)

Nevermind - I just heard from him like 2 minutes ago.

I guess I'm just overly nervous - this is my first trade in years. :happyface

I received an e-mail from him very shortly after I initially made this post. It was March 4. He said he'd be putting my DVD's in the mail on 3/10. Well, it's 3/22 - no DVD's, no e-mails even after I e-mailed him last week concerned.

I know I'm probably being overly paranoid, and I know that I took a little longer than I had initiall anticipated in mailing him his tapes, but I kept in touch with him along the way.

I read somewhere he's no longer doing trading, but that he was honoring all his obligations that were outstanding.

I Fedex'd his tapes to him. I thought he'd at least Priority Mail them to me (I read somewhere he always used Prioirty Mail with Confirmation) but that would have been here by now. I suppose if he used Parcel Post or Media Mail it could take this long, but I'd at least like to know.

We've been having storms here, and I'd rather not the stuff be sitting outside on my porch all day. If there's still time, I'd like to halt the box at the post office for pick-up.

Press him for a delivery confirmation number. Traders that burn people have a tendency to supposedly conveniently forget to use one, and then say "Oh, no! I'll redo your stuff... no problem!" I got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell.

If I don't hear from him in the next day or two, I'll go over to a board I know he frequents and put the question there. He came so highly recommended by people I know are trustworthy. And I sent tapes, not money so I've only lost 6 tapes if the unthinkable happens, but I really want what he's supposed to be selling me.
