Jrnygrl 03-07-2004, 11:05 PM Yeah I can see it. ;) bixbybix 03-08-2004, 02:22 PM Hi There Do you know if there's a website, that might have a photo of the actor who played Ernest T. Bass? I kind of remember the face. I tried putting Bill's and his face together in my mind. I kind of see it in the eyes and mouth. A picture of Bass would be better so I could make a better comparison. You know who looks a lot like him is that new comer actor Hugh Jackman. There are some pictures of him that look so much like Bill. Hugh Jackman might be doing a biopic of Bill's life. I sure hope it happens. Sandly:talk: dandelion wine 03-08-2004, 03:00 PM I can see the resemblence, too. He's always been a fan and has nothing but respect and admiration for him, as I've read. :) Here's a picture of Howard. bixbybix 03-08-2004, 03:49 PM Hi LiL Insomniac Thanks for your response and for sending the picture of Howard. There is a pretty good resemblence of the two. I guess the saying that everyone has a twin somewhere is true. I appreciate the time you took to do this. Thanks again. Sandy dandelion wine 03-09-2004, 12:48 AM Originally posted by bixbybix Hi LiL Insomniac Thanks for your response and for sending the picture of Howard. Having been a fan of Howard Morris since he was a regular on Sid Caesar's show in the 1950s--and a fan of Bill Bixby since MY FAVORITE MARTIAN in the early 1960s--at first, I couldn't see a resemblance ... that is, until I saw the photo you posted here! Wow! There really IS a resemblance! P.S. Did you happen to see the episode of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW in which Bix played a spoiled rich kid ("Bailey's Bad Boy," Episode No. 47)? dandelion wine 06-29-2006, 04:41 PM Having been a fan of Howard Morris since he was a regular on Sid Caesar's show in the 1950s--and a fan of Bill Bixby since MY FAVORITE MARTIAN in the early 1960s--at first, I couldn't see a resemblance ... that is, until I saw the photo you posted here! Ok, first off I apologize for being so late to this reply (to say the least). :( And second, I don't think I've ever seen that particular episode, unfortunately. The Andy Griffith Show is aired here on one of my local channels so, it looks like I'll be keeping my eyes peeled. :) |
