i just recived an email from this addy which has an attachment. i get so much spam/virus emails to my yahoo adress that im careful with i open. i thought this might b the most likey place that somone with an e-address like that would email me so i thought i'd ask :)

I haven't gotten any mails from that address so far. I have noticed that out of all my e-mail accts the ones that get the most spam are my YAHOO & AOL ones & the ones that seem to have viruses sent to them are my YAHOO mail acct. Oh my YAHOO mail is so overrun with spam that when they went to charging for pop 3 access, I made one of my other accts my main accts & use the YAHOO one for signing up for stuff I think mnay cause me to get spam like signing up for free websites, contests etc. I get what appears to be viruses sent to my YAHOO mail & some of them have addresses that are made to look as if they came from YAHOO support etc. Good thing you are cautious. I sure am. I watch out for suspicious viruses etc & if an attachment seems suspicious, then I do not download it. You did right in being careful in what you open. The mails that I've been getting lately that seem to be viruses seem to have PIF extensions to them. Good luck! :)

Thanks for the info! I never open those kids of mails up. I always delete them...
