Wow.... 11 years straight of being nominated.
Not even Frasier (which has won 5 times, Cheers-4) has been nominated every year.
I may be wrong.... but I think Cheers is the most nominated (Emmy) series of all time.
While "Frasier" is the biggest winner of all time, with a record that will undoubtedly NEVER be matched.

In my perspective I think Cheers TOTALLY blew all of them away, but obviously the emmy people don't so poo them!

This stuff comes up in the Emmy Trivia post as well, but even though Cheers so far has more nominations for best comedy series, Frasier surpasses it in both acting and writing nominations. :)

Frasier is definately better written.
But IMO, Cheers is the better show.
