I thought Norm had the second best meaning of life.
(second only to Cliff's infamous "comfortable shoes")

I just watched the finale on tape, and I tried to remember what Norm said.... I think it wenDt like this....

NORM : "Love, as long as you love something, doesn't matter what you love, could be a person -- could be a thing. Unconditional and without doubt, love. Wanna know what I love Sammy?"

SAM: "Beer, Norm?"

NORM: (looks at his watch) "Yeah, what the hell, Ill have a quick one. You know what I love Sammy.... THAT STOOL"
"If theres a heaven I dont want to go if I cant bring my stool.... and even God better not be sitting in it"

Norm is ****ing hilarious.

But I was thinking.... a person, a thing.... a show maybe??
Do you love Cheers?

Yes.... maybe it makes me a dork.
Maybe its makes me a weirdo....

but I love Cheers.
And I dont think there is any other show (except Frasier.... and maybe Seinfeld) that I would ever say I love.

I haven't watched enough episodes to love it, but it's a good show.

I love it. Whenever I'm feeling bad, or I'm pissed off I can watch Cheers and be completely happy with my life for 20 minutes. This may sound stupid, but Cheers is one of the most important things in my life.

I think all of us love Cheers. But it's kind of hard to explain why, so I'll try anyway. For me, Cheers is like an outlet. Whenever I am watching it I have no idea what is going on around me. I am just focused on the episode and get really into it. I know Cheers isn't real but many times I have had to stop and think, "whoa it's just a show". Cheers has helped me out a lot since I started watching it and forever will have an impact on me. I love Cheers today, tomorrow, and forever...

I mean.... good speach Steve.

I definately agree about it helping out, whenever I feel like ****.... I just pop in the DVD, or wait for Cheers to come on and everything feels right (and some times.... it DOES make everything right)

It sounds corny.... but its like the themesong.
You wanna go where everybody knows your name, and for a half hour if you fake your name is Norm -- you're set!

Cheers was really the first show for me where I consistently laughed at every episode.
