What pictures do you think will be used for the remaining 8 seasons of Cheers?







I think our "Board Pic" should be used for the final season.... with a white box and "Cheers" in the normal color.
And it should say "The Complete Final Season"
instead of "The Complete Eleventh Season"

That's one for Season 4, although you'd have to edit in Frasier and possibly Lilith too.

I seriously am not a fan of the way they've done the DVD covers...but in keeping with tradition...here's my season 4 version.

My favorite cover is actually from season one. After that one, they started to look a lot cheaper.

I agree, Season 1 was the best cover, after that they got cheap.

And the stupid big numbers.... like we're too stupid to read the word "second" or "third"

Well actually they should just get rid of the writing on the bottom. We know it's on DVD.

Is anybody else really bothered by the inside cover of season 2? That picture is horrible. Diane doesn't even look like Diane!

I never noticed that until now.
Thats just stupid.
At least the DVDs are uniform, I mean.... they are all very similar.

Whereas certain shows suddenly change their packaging style (ie.... Futurama)

In the original picture, Frasier looks psychotic. Not his best picture. Diane looks like a pain in the butt. Sam looks clueless. But Carla looks really good imo. As does Woody.

They should have stuck with the coloring of the first set - the orignal amber. Now they'll have to think of 11 shades of color...and I'm guessing most of them will look quite unsuitable. I'm not looking forward to Cheers in hot pink.

SLICK. I REALLY hope they go with green for the 4th season...And I was actually thinking the same thing....I loved the Season 1 packaging, and I agree that it started looking cheaper after that. Maybe they should've just stuck w/ gold for all 11 seasons and then have a different cast picture for each season...

The Simpsons has been pretty good about keeping in tune with their packaging. ;)
