Debra is my favorite. :rock: It could definitely be argued that she holds ELR together. While I don't know anybody who would want her as a spouse, I know plenty of people who think her character is absolutely awesome and hysterically funny. I agree. She does a great job. :nod:

I just read this morning that they're going to do a ninth season of "ELR" after all.

Ray Ramano didn't want to do it, but decided to say yeas becasue Patricia Heaton was pushing to do one more season.

Even in real life, he's afraid of crossing her!

Well, i certainly would NOT want to be married to Debra, Patricia is a different story, she seems to have her act together, i understand she's only portraying a character but i like the argument that was brought up here that said maybe she acts the way she does because her buttinsky relatives are making her act that way. And in real life she certainly looks more beautiful than the mousy look they give her on the show, she is a KNOCK OUT!

I like Patricia because she is beautiful and because she is on the conservative side in politics. She doesn't have to be disgusting to look beautiful.

And because she knows how to handle Raymond and his nutty family. (Marie deserves all she gets from Debra and much much more!)

My mom used to think Debra was really mean, but after watching, completely understands why Debra reacts as she does.
