Anyone want to admit to liking this guy? His Endless Flight LP was a big seller in 1976 and 1977, and it produced two number-one hits, "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" and "When I Need You."

My favorite Sayer tunes are not his chart toppers but "Long Tall Glasses (I Can Dance) from his Just a Boy LP, and another track from Endless Flight, "Magdelena."

Leo was called a poor man's Elton John, but given that Elton was fading at the time (remember Blue Moves?), Leo Sayer was a welcome diversion.

I remember seeing the MORE THAN I CAN SAY video on VH1 back in the 1980's and thinking it was Richard Simmons singing, LOL

More Than I Can Say is a good record. I remember his two chart toppers form 1977 when they were originally hits.

Oh my gosh, I had a neighbor who would get high, and blast this song, and everyone in the neighborhood could hear this song and he would play it over and over. It was the funniest thing.

I liked his music a lot. He had some catchy tunes. I remember my mother loved, 'When I Need You'.

He also co-wrote "The Show Must Go On," a great song by Three Dog Night.

He also wrote (or co-wrote) "One Man Band" for Roger Daltrey's first solo album. That's a fine song too! :)
