Personally I would like to see Charly Lowry (http://www.idolonfox.com/contestants/charly_lowry/index.htm) Return.

I felt she sang great, she has a great smile, she's very likable, and that accent is too funny for her not to be in the finals.

Definitely Jon Peter Lewis.

i wanted to see some new people. it's pretty much going to be all guys since they'll probably want to even it out. in fact, if it was all guys, it'd be six guys, six girls. they like the even gender crap unfortunately. therefore, im afraid it really doesn't matter how some of my favorite girls (suzy and leah) perform.

I don't like that fact that Ryan Seacrest would always say that any one from the entire competition could be coming back for the wildcard show, when the judges decided only to bring back the semi-finalist. Many people were expecting Scooter Girl to come back but she didn't.

I was thinking that same thing, too. Since they said they were getting members from every level, I thought for sure they would get Scooter Girl back. She could always this year, when the auditions for Season 4 start at the end of the summer.

I didn't think Jon Peter's performance was good enough to win.

Elizabeth Letendre was pretty good. She may have a shot.

Katie Weber's performance wasn't that good.

George Huff was decent. He may have a shot.

Suzy Vulaca was great! Best of the night so far. If she doesn't get selected it would be a crime!

Matt Metzger was ok. No where near good enough to win, but ok.

i think George and Katie were the best so far... even though they werent phenomenal.

Leah Labelle started off kind of mediocre, but she finished out pretty good.

Decent performance, she may have a shot since many of the other performances weren't that great.

Jennifer was great. Second best performance of the night next to Suzy.

Ultimately I would pick Jennifer Hudson, Suzy Vulaca, Elizabeth Letendre, and George Huff.

I wanted Eric Yoder and Lisa Leuschner to at least come back to the wildcard show.

:faint: I love John. His performance was by far my favorite from the whole season. It made me laugh.. he's got personality, which is why Id think hed make it through. Hes got that cutesy-dorkiness to him like Clay does (though nowhere as close..:eyes: ). I voted and got through 11 times. As soon as my boys are done at 11, Ima vote some more for him.:D He sang one of my fav. Elvis songs of all time.. loved it!

The difference is, Clay is a great singer. Jon is average at best.

I love Jon!! He's such a cutie. Definately reminds me of Clay, so good natured, sweet heart, and funny. His performance was so fun, you could just feel what fun he was having. Jon is awesome. I was smiling the whole time he performed. :lol:

I think Simon was pretty accurate in his assessments this week. None of the wildcards look or sound like the next American Idol yet. The best of the night was Suzy. Jon, though very entertaining, did not sing well. Matt was terrible and has no chance. Jennifer's vocals were strong, but her facial expressions are awful when she sings. The others were pretty close, but based on the judges comments I predict:

Randy chooses George. He picks a guy that he likes.
Paula takes Jennifer. Her vocals carry her to the finals.
Simon picks Suzy. He said she was the only one that could scare the other finalists.

America votes in Jon Peter Lewis. Despite his poor showing, his large fan base and entertaining performance come through.

That leaves my favorite, Elizabeth (who blew it by giving only an average performance), out of luck, as well as Matt, Katie and Leah. We'll know the truth tomorrow.

YES! That really was a shame. The only real reason I could think of for kicking her out was because they didn't want a potential winner to be a Kelly clone (clone voice anyway). Well, geez, they should have figured out her voice was like Kelly long before and not even considered her this far into it. Maybe it took them this long to really see it and decide it wouldn't work. I just don't know...

:nod: I voted for the first hour after the episode aired and for the first 30 to 45 minutes, there were quite a few busy signals. I voted a total of 80 times but a number of those were after people apparently quit voting because I got 20 or more consecutive votes in (in the last half of the hour, though).

I was irked when Eric Yoder didn't get to sing. He had a lot of potential and I liked his voice.

I hope that George Huff is selected tonight. The judges had nothing but good things to say about him.

My assessment for the evening (not that you really care):

Elizabeth: She makes me wanna puke. When I look at her, I think "pig." Her voice was annoying, too. She really had no chance.

Eric: I liked Eric a lot, and I was really disappointed that he didn't get through. He reminded me of Clay. :biglove:

George: I thought George was really good. I was surprised the judges liked him so much the first time, because his voice seemed really raspy, but yesterday was great. :clap:

Jennifer: She's got pure power. She'll go far. There's no doubt she can sing.

Jon: Jon was insane. Who am I kidding...I loved it. :D I didn't think he had any chance to get through, but that's just another reason why you should ignore this. :)

Katie: I was kinda disappointed with Katie's performance, but I still really liked her. Like Simon said, she's really the whole package. Sorry to see her go. :( "Orange Colored Sky" kicked some serious ass. :rock:

Leah: I think I hate Leah even more than I hate Lisa. The fact that she carried on when she didn't get into the top three was embarrassing, and her being picked over Matt and Suzy makes me wanna scream. :mad:

Lisa: I despised her. She annoyed the crap outta me, she was terrible to look at, and she didn't take any of the constructive criticism the judges gave. Glad she didn't get to sing.

Marque: I originally liked him, but his reaction after he was told he got cut totally turned me off. "Are you serious?"

Matt: I'm in love with Matt. :loveya: I think they made a serious mistake letting him go. I don't understand why the judges think that a good voice has to be powerful. Matt had a great rock voice, and he's the only one so far I can even imagine hearing on the radio.

Suzy: I thought that Suzy was a definitely in. That last performance was probably the best I've heard yet from anybody, and the fact that Leah beat her out is ridiculous. ohno:

Tiara: Wasn't a real big fan. She didn't have enough power in her voice. It was a good move to leave her out.

im pretty pleased with tonights wild card. I wanted Katie to get through, but this years pretty tough.

however, i love this years top 12!!

This years 12 is really good. Its well balanced. They have great personality, and its not just 2 that really really stand out (like Clay and Ruben from last year). There are a lot of powerhouse performers. I cant wait for the real competition to begin!

i think paula kind of backed herself into having to pick leah; probably never expected simon to say "well you can put her through yourself then"

I love Jon Peter Lewis! He was totally my favorite, I'm glad he got in. I liked George too and Jennifer Hudson...but Leah..eh..wasn't too big on her but oh well.

I kind of wanted Marque to get in but I agree his reaction turned me off. But he's just so adorable!

I am so happy that he made it and that George made it, too. I really like Jennifer Hudson's voice. She sang well in Round 1, the Wild Card Competition last night, and the results show.

I like everyone who made it through except for Leah. She does not belong there. It should be Suzy instead.

George- His performance was great, I loved it.

Jennifer- has an amazing voice, she belongs there.

John Peter- I loved it, and I've liked him from day one, he's just different than the rest. I like that.

Suzy- was great, I really liked her.

Leah- Not good at all. What was Paula thinking? :cuss:

Ahh I love Jon Peter Lewis. I remember watching his first audition and right there I knew that 1.) He would make top 12, and 2.) He will be my favorite for the season. So so true!:D He is my favorite on the show- theres only about 4 in the top 12 I like. Im not sure if Jon will be AI, but I know he will make top 3. I was 100% confident he'd be AI's choice and Im so glad I was right! GO JPL!!:D
