LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Alex Desert, late of the CBS series "Becker," has signed on to star in an ABC pilot called "Harry Green and Eugene."
The latest round of pilot casting also includes John Cho ("Off Centre"), Josie Davis ("Beverly Hills, 90210"), James Patrick Stuart ("Andy Richter Controls the Universe"), Cody Arens and Stacy Edwards, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Desert, who played blind newsstand owner Jake on "Becker," will star opposite Mark Valley ("Keen Eddie") in "Harry Green and Eugene," about a Los Angeles private detective and his dimwitted brother. Desert's other credits include "Swingers," "High Fidelity" and the short-lived FOX series "The Heights."

If Becker comes back, his chances of returning are even less. But he could juggle two at once. Then they'd have to write his character back. I'm wondering a lot whether Becker will be back in the fall.
