I know there's a lot of Prince fans in here, dunno if they have AOL or not, but AOL just started a new "all-Prince" (following in the footsteps of the all Elvis, Beatles, Dave Matthews, Led Zeppelin and Madonna stations) station. I listened for about 2 1/2 hours last night, they have a nice mix of every officially released thing he's recorded. And length is not an issue, because they played West from N.E.W.S and the Scandalous Sex Suite within an hour of each other, and they also played stuff from the live album. Yes, I have heard the standard Raspberry Beret and Purple Rain on there, but they've also played a lot of forgotten stuff (and unknown to non-fans) off Crystal Ball, Chaos And Disorder, Come and The Vault.

So if anyone in here has AOL and loves Prince, check the station out, definately not your predictable Greatest Hits jukebox, tho you will hear a lot of the classic hits as well

just a sample of the playlist from the last half-hour since I turned it on

Trust
New Power Soul
Automatic
Feel U Up
D.M.S.R.

not a hit in the bunch, even tho a lot of people might remember DMSR from Risky Business. Not the best sample, but a nice sign that the list isn't all Purple Rain (even tho 1999 was his second biggest album, that's the first time I heard tracks from that cd until Automatic and DMSR) and The Very Best Of Prince

I was just about to check this out, but one of the requirements is minimum AOL 7.0 and i never upgraded from 6.0, shows you how lazy I am. I never gotten into internet radio much anyway, but I'd definitely check out an all Prince station, especially if they mix it up as nicely as that. They'll play anything if they played the Scandalous Sex Suite. D.M.S.R. has always, always been one of my favorite Prince songs, I would think that's one of his more popular album tracks. I might have to upgrade to hear that station, even though I've got everything from Prince anyway.
