Anyone know what the latest on TBS sitcom lineup is? What's coming and going over the next 6 months?

I believe the edited Sex & The City is heading to TBS this year, with Everybody Loves Raymond and The King of Queens coming the year after that.

Better wait for the user 'Pavanbadal' to respond, though, as I could be wrong. He, however, knows his future TV plans and schedules. :)

Sex and the City is indeed coming this Summer(July I think), to TBS. It will be edited down to a TV-14 rating apparently.

You are right ClassicComedyFan2, on all the shows you mentioned. Sex & the City starts June 14, Everybody Loves Raymond starts this fall (originally planned for July), and King of Queens is a few years away, 2007 or something, check the King of Queens board for details on that.

Not Cosby, the Cosby Show

I like Cosby on there - with Hilton. I never saw that in it's run on Network TV so I enjoy taping and watching it every day. I want it to stay for a while. :)

Yes, it's lame. That's part of the appeal. I guess it wasn't obvious to you but I was joking about "greatest shows in the history of television" but I do enjoy watching it, and the show still has alot of fans. Calling it useless is kinda silly.

No, it's not one of the greatest shows in TV history, but it's still very popular. MANY people still love it and care about it. It probably won't be going anywhere soon.

No, TBS's deal is through 2005.

Does anybody know if "Mama's Family" is leaving with the coming of all of these new shows? It comes on at 6am, I am assuming that all of these new shows will be prime time or afternoon.

Is The Fresh Prince Of Belair going to stay on TBS even after it starts on Nick at Nite this fall?

Also,I think that Friends,Seinfeld, and Home Improvement are probably going to stay on as well.

It would be nice if Mama's Family gets a better hour in which to watch. 5:00 in the mornings is too early for me.

Nah, I'm sure Mama's Family will stay a few more years. It has been on for 7 years already, and is still one of their most popular and highly rated shows, despite the lousy timeslot it currently holds.

I'm also not impressed w/ their new show acquisitions. Ray & King of Queens...been there, done it...Sex & the City...haven't been there, don't want to do it...

They need to run some wholesome 80s sitcom. You know, one of those good, quality shows.

Well that is good news. I'm shocked that Mama's Family is still one of its most highly rated shows, but that is great (usually my favorites are not highly rated). I hope it will eventually get a new time slot. It has had good time slots in the past though.

I know, I don't like the new shows. I mean I like Raymond, but I can see Raymond twice everyday on my local Fox station (that will probably change though with TBS). It isn't what I consider essentual viewing. I think Sex & the City should be on TNT instead of TBS--it doesn't fit in with any TBS show.

Yeah, Mama's Family, while in first-run syndication was the highest rated syndicated show, and from what I've heard, reruns on TBS are still up there on syndicated lists, which is cool...

I know...I'm not the biggest fan of Ray as it is, but to have it rerun all the time is ridiculous...

well, at least give Sex a try on TBS before judging it. "Cleaned up" (which means take the character of Samantha out, lol), S&TC isn't really more vulgar than the average Friends episode
