damn. Guess I know which state to avoid living in.
10 Fittest U.S. Cities:
5.Colorado Springs, CO
4.Denver, CO
:D As soon as I saw this topic, I knew Denver was going to be in the top ten. Didn't expect the Springs, but I don't doubt it. We have some of the highest peaks and the best hiking trails in the country. Plus the fact that the Rokies are at least 30 minutes or less away from any city on the Front Range.
dandelion wine 02-29-2004, 03:54 AM They mentioned this on the local news a little while back.. I live in the 2nd fattest city in the country. ohno:

 CO is such a great state. I <3 it a lot...I've got family in the Denver/CO Springs area, which is even more cool. I love exploring there every chance I can get. :D
*MIBabe03* 02-29-2004, 09:25 AM Okay, I live in Arlington TX. No wonder I'm fat!

Solomon lives in one of America's fattest cities! :rotflmao:
Blair85 02-29-2004, 12:15 PM I can't believe WV didn't make it on the fattest list. I think we used to be #1 for overweight people, what happened?!?

They got themselves in gear and lost weight. :D I remember in 2002, Philadelphia was the #1 fattest city in the nation, and the mayor of Philadelphia started a strict program...It must have worked, because it's #7 now. :)

*Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-29-2004, 01:09 PM I wonder if my city's on the fatter or slimmer side. I'm not fat, but I do need to get off of my ass. I'm so lazy. :o

You can't go one day wihtout taking a stab at SOLOMON, can you?
Hey, here's an idea. Maybe if you all don't pick on him, he won't have any reason to either. The only reason he started with the profanity was beause you all initiated it.

You're definitely somewhere in the middle...ND isn't on the list because we're such a rural state, and there's farmland too. :)
ClassicComedyFan2 02-29-2004, 03:44 PM Well...I've visited Philadelphia, but I don't live in one of the fattest or fittest cities. Then again, I am a bit underweight... :)
TheHappyBurgerMeister 02-29-2004, 04:25 PM I'm surprised Milwaukee (my hometown) isn't on their for one of the fattest cities. I guess that's good. I remember on the Simpsons when Springfield was the fattest city and then Homer says "Eat your hear out, Milwaukee!" :D

dawsongirl 02-29-2004, 10:14 PM They must not have come to Iowa. Otherwise we'd have to be in the top ten fattest somewhere.

Yep, we always rank high. No doubt because it is so easy to get outside and do something active and people here are very into fitness and recreation. I never have trouble finding someone to go hiking with.

I'm not ugly.
Dutabi84 03-06-2004, 03:19 AM I live right near Austin TX..so I basically live on the inside of a triangle of fat with San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. Hahaha.
EricIdlefan 03-06-2004, 06:59 AM I would prefer an "average joe" over a somebody that is beautiful and/or handsome on the outside but ugly and rotten on the inside!!
