Obsessed may be too strong a word, but have you ever just gone wild over a song and couldn't hear it enough? I have.

Way way back, shortly after dinosaurs became extinct...actually it was in 1963, and I was five. Moon River was a hit for Andy Williams. It was the theme song from the movie, Breakfast At Tiffany's. I was completely obsessed with the song. I made my mother buy the record. I'm told I used to stand on the coffee table and perform the song, lol.

I married in 1985, and Moon River is the song my husband and I danced to at our wedding. To this day, I love that song. My ear can pick up the dimmest, faintest Muzak or any version in a store, a movie, anywhere. I want it played at my funeral.

In high school, I went crazy over the song, Miracles by Jefferson Starship, and Deacon Blues by Steely Dan.

In the early 90s, REM's Losing My Religion got into my soul. I played it over and over again in my car or at home.

Also, I fell in love with Jon Secada's song, Just Another Day (Without You).....and Chris Isaak's, Wicked Game.

Yes. I have a new song that I'm obsessed with like.... every week. :D Some really stick with me a little more than others though.

"One Night in Bangkok" and "Dancing Queen" are two songs I've been known to obsess over. :lol:

Pour Some Sugar on Me by Def Leppard is the best song on the planet...lol...been my favorite for a LONG time..im talking years ..great party song!!:lol:

For me, it's "Take The Long Way Home" by Supertramp.

I'm really attached to it, but I don't know why.

It's one of a few songs I have on my hard drive, and every once and a while I punch it up and listen to it.

For some reason, it gets to me.

At the moment, I think it's "Broken" by Seether & Amy Lee. I listened to it about 800 times last night...gah.

Oh my gosh, I have been obsessed(possessed?) so many times! Especially by a lot of Beatles songs, of course! 2 that I can think of right off were "She Loves You" and "Yesterday." I couldn't get enough of those songs when they were new! :happyface

"Yesterday" came out when I was 15 and I used to sit alone and listen to it dreaming about Paul!:lol: Sigh...........:eyes:

I can't get enough of Josh Turner and "Long Black Train".

Also, I listen to DL&Q's music A LOT .
Sometimes, too much..... wait... you can't listen to it too much!

I have a new favorite song I'm obssesed with almost every week. Right after I saw School of Rock it was "White Winged Dove" by Stevie Nicks and that one alsted the longest.

I was obsessed with a bunch of songs.I sing them to myself a lot.I usuallt get a song stuck in my head every week.I was obseesed with "Donna" by Ritchie Valens and still love it.It's one of my favorite songs.I was obsessed with KoRn's "Here To Stay", Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" I used to very obsessed with.It's the first song that got me into music in the beginning of sixth grade.I'm sure there's Elvis songs too.He's my favorite singer.

I obsess over a new song every week, then I get over them. I was obsessing over Maroon 5's 'This Love', but now that I got my Britney Spears tickets, Im obsessing over her. Any of her songs. Shes my fav.

I was obsessed over "What Would You Do" by City High, I would listen to it over and over again when it came out....and then just about all P!nk's song on M!ss and Try This....

Iv'e been obsessed with quite a few songs in my life. Too many to mention really, but a couple that immediately jumped into my mind is "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman. I remember hearing that song on the radio, and obsessing over who the singer was, and what the song was called. The only current song I'm obsessed with is Beth Hart's "Leave The Light On." That song almost brings me to tears everytime I hear it!

Right now Everyday by Stevie Nicks. I too was once obsessed with Fast Car, and I still listen to it often.

I can't say I've been obsessed with any one song. There are ALOT of songs I just love so much. I'm more obsessed with whole CDs. When Extreme came out with "3 Sides to Every Story" in the early 90's, I listened to that over & over & over again. And over & over again. Then it was "Images & Words" by Dream Theater. Then "Awake" by DT. Now it's "Scenes from a Memory" from DT. I listen to that constantly. As you can see, I'm a bit of a DT fan.:crazy:

I have been obsessed with so many songs. I would obsess over a song for the longest time than I would get sick of it. But the one song that I was totally and completely obsessed with for the longest time is Rio by Duran Duran. I was in love with that song for a good 2 years but I never got sick of it. I still like it, but not as much as before.
