SBTBGoddess 03-02-2004, 12:55 AM Awesome! Where is this from? I hope it's legit!!! :D So, does this possibly be that Season 5 will be the College Years??????
Moonlit_Suburb 03-02-2004, 01:05 AM pavanbadal: Where did you get that list of episodes for the season 3 & 4 release? If that list is accurate, we should be getting EVERY episode from 3 & 4, along with the 3 that were left out of the 1 & 2 set.
Every episode of Saved By The Bell on DVD, PLUS audio commentaries? This is just too cool  I'll have to run to Wal*Mart tomorrow to pick up the first set. (I was reluctant to buy it, because of missing episodes)

53 episodes? If this is 4 discs, that'll be 13 episodes per disc. That's squeezing it kinda tight.

I know! I am thinking the same thing...plus commentaries. Whoa!
barb1686 03-02-2004, 07:35 AM Maybe it won't be 4 discs? I'm sure that was just a rough estimate??
barb1686 03-02-2004, 07:39 AM So, does this possibly be that Season 5 will be the College Years??????
I sure hope so! Why? Did they say there will be a season 5 box set??

The info is from Lion's Gate. They have already sent us a copy of the DVD for review -- but it is an early copy, and there are no extras it seems. There are 4 discs though. TJ is the one who will be reviewing this, so keep checking the main page -- www.sitcomsonline.com

Yes. At the Lions Gate site and the information they provided me for the official fansite, the descripton read "For 5 seasons". So judging the way they are distributing these episodes, I imagine there will be one more volume. Let's hope and see!

Actually, see the space between "Mystery Weekend" and "Student Teacher Week?" Everything after "Student Teacher Week" is considered "Season Five," but they label the DVD for some reason as Seasons 3/4.

barb1686 03-02-2004, 03:36 PM I wouldn't ever consider that a Season 5...
SBTBGoddess 03-02-2004, 07:30 PM That's weird. But how would you know they consider that Season 5? Does it say season 5? I am confused. LOL:confused:

Yes, it did say Season Five, but I removed it, because I knew people would be confused.
MattS 03-02-2004, 08:29 PM 13 episodes on each disc is too many. Is the disc double sided? What about some pictures/scans you can show us. I am 100% skeptical of that list. Like I said on other boards, we'll just have to wait. ...and waiting sucks!
Matt

LOL I got confused both ways!
And yes...waiting sucks! Can't wait for that review!
darthsmozers 03-03-2004, 01:13 AM I just want to make sure by the end of this we'll have every single SBTB episode (normal series.)
If this list is accurate, then that means we get Tori eps. and the summer eps. nice!
katiekat 03-04-2004, 08:56 PM That's great! I can't wait... season 5? Maybe they'll include the Las Vegas wedding episode and the College Years! That'd be great! Or maybe the Hawaiian Style one? We'll find out eventually...

They won't be including any of those :( Well, possibly the Hawaiin Style movie...but it doesn't look like it.
Pavan 03-09-2004, 12:11 AM Here is the SitcomsOnline.com DVD Review of SAVED BY THE BELL -- SEASONS THREE & FOUR:
http://www.sitcomsonline.com/savedbythebellseasons3and4dvdreview.html
SBTBGoddess 03-09-2004, 12:22 AM Well this isn't too bad...I have to admit, these are my favorites episodes and there will be special commentary...I am one happy SBTB fan! Thanks! :happyface
vashti1999 03-09-2004, 10:13 AM I don't know but that review really isn't telling us that much. If it turns out the retail release is different from the sample discs in the review, it's not really helping us in knowing what we're going to get. Will there be an outer cardboard case for the digipak? Is there an insert this time? I'll still buy it, of course but it'd be good to know some more details.
hughpuppies 03-09-2004, 11:44 AM If anyone knows the answer to this can tell me. Why wasn't Jessie on the the super-rock group episodes?
Jokerette 03-09-2004, 12:52 PM You mean Rockumentary with the Zack Attack band? Jessie wasn't there because they were phasing the character out of the show I believe, showing her in less episodes as Elizabeth Berkely's time to quit drew nearer, trying to slowly ease Jessie out of the show. That's what I heard some place. Jessie wasn't in All In The Mall either, where as Kelly and Lisa were.
The episodes without Jessie but still featuring Kelly and Lisa were a little weird. Felt like something was missing.

Well, usually we get the covers and the official discs, but for some reason Lions Gate sent Todd the check discs for both Saved by the Bell and Will & Grace. So he didn't get the cover, case, or anything. Just the discs. He explained what he got, no extras. What more could he say? ShopNBC.com could be wrong, there might not be any extras, or the check discs Todd got were before the final cut and the interviews were not on them.
The official press release will be out soon, so we will know then.
barb1686 03-09-2004, 04:23 PM If anyone knows the answer to this can tell me. Why wasn't Jessie on the the super-rock group episodes?
I think only Elizabeth (Jessie) and the people she worked with know this answer. She was also missing from All in the Mall and Lisa was missing from the No Hope With Dope episode.
As for the DVD's...I'm trying not to get my hopes up thinking there will be special features. Until LionsGate announces it, I just don't know whether or not to believe it.
SBTB Geek 03-09-2004, 08:23 PM Originally posted by barb1686

No she wasn't. Wait, I'm confused now.
hughpuppies 03-09-2004, 09:32 PM No she was on that episode. Did you notice on that episode, they thought the guy in the mens bathroom that was smoking. That guy was dumb ox the jock, but in that episode he was not supposed to be dumb ox the jock. In later episodes he did play dumb ox the jock
barb1686 03-09-2004, 10:11 PM Oh wait, nevermind...she was. She just didn't go to the party with them...right? She was obsessed with Johnny...sorry. I'm out of it today...damn Nyquil (I have a cold :( )
...Sorry

Yeah...another one of their mistakes. His name was Scud...I'm sure of that today, lol Geez.......
SBTBGoddess 03-10-2004, 12:17 AM Jessie was absent from "The Rockumentary" and "All in the Mall".
Kelly was absent from "The Love Machine" and the second episode of "The Wicked Stepbrother".
Lisa and the guys had perfect attendance. :D
KellyKapowski 03-10-2004, 02:28 AM Wait, I thought Kelly was in 'The Love Machine', but Lisa wasn't...?
SBTBGoddess 03-10-2004, 02:36 AM oh right! I got confused! Yes. Lisa wasn't in the Love Machine and Kelly was. LOL
barb1686 03-10-2004, 07:43 AM I also thought she was in the Wicked Stepbrother episode b/c Jessie's new step-brother comes up to Jessie's room and Jessie, Kelly, & Lisa are in there. Didn't she bake cookies for him and Lisa was trying to eat them lol?
And Love Machine is what I was thinking about...I don't know how I got them confused. It seems they get rid of someone sometimes when a guest star comes on...example: Slater's ex-girlfriend Jenn comes along and Lisa isn't there...Rockumentary that Kasey guy was there so Jessie wasn't. I know it's not always the case but that sometimes seems to be the case.
SBTBGoddess 03-10-2004, 11:44 AM Yeah, she appeared in the first part episode, but not in the second part episode. Very clever, if you ask me. Could have fooled anyone!
barb1686 03-10-2004, 04:26 PM Oh ok...I'll take your word for it. ;) I haven't seen it in a while.
