Did anyone realize that the ABC season of DS was got one of the worst rating's in TV, ranking #75 out of 85 shows. That's even worse then "The Facts of Life"'s first season, which had a #74!

I believe that it was harsh and needed a chance. ABC jumped the gun on the concellation in my opinion cause I think that if they would have let the show take course it would have been a top show in the 1986-1987 because Silver Spoons was gone so they really didn't have any compition at that time slot and the show would have taken a better turn than the 1984 turn

#75 will make any show def. become cancelled. ABC cancelled "Three's a Crowd" so they could squeeze in DS, and TAC did A LOT better then both the last ABC and NBC seasons.

I have a fuzzy memory from 1985 when I was eight years old. It was a friday night and I was watching Mr. Belvedere. I still had the television on when it was over and then Diff'rent Strokes came on. I remember being shocked. I think I was shocked because I was use to DS being on NBC and also because I didn't know that DS was still being made.
