View Full Version : Terrell Owens will not be a free agent!
Brian Damage 02-27-2004, 12:56 AM Wide receiver Terrell Owens will not be an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday after all. The N.F.L. informed the San Francisco 49ers yesterday that Owens would not be on the list of free agents because Owens and his agent, David Joseph, had missed the deadline to file the paperwork to void the final three years of Owens's contract with the 49ers.
As a result, Owens, a four-time Pro Bowl selection, remains under contract with the 49ers through 2006. But the 49ers, who have been unhappy with Owens and had expected to lose him to free agency, are now in a position to try to trade him.

That's bad news for Eagles Fans-LOL All you hear on phila sports talk radio is-ARE WE GOING TO GET TO?" THE ANSWER IS HELL NO!!!!!
Brian Damage 02-27-2004, 11:11 AM I know, I work with a die hard eagle fan and that's all he talked about. He still could be traded though.
I hope Kobe Bryant does not have Owens stupid agent.
dlemond 02-27-2004, 01:07 PM That makes him less attractive to teams who could have had him and not given up anything.
As a result he will have to take less money because no one is trading for him and giving up big salary cap money.
Hmmm.. big cap hit and give SF a player?
That's likely.
Not.
EricIdlefan 02-27-2004, 06:51 PM Terrell Owens
Randy Moss
David Boston
Keyshawn Johnson
Joe Horn
They have so much in common
1. They put themselves first and foremost and act like they are a one-man show and not teamplayers!!(Ever heard of "There is no I in team!!??" and rub it through their egotistical head)
2. They have egos and attitude problems so big it would fill up all fifty states and the Canadian and Mexican Borders
3. They are like a "disease" to the team!! A cancer or better yet, AIDS!!
isiahthomas 03-04-2004, 05:22 PM I just saw on Yahoo.com that Terrell Owens was traded to Baltimore. He's gonna make $17.7 million for 3 yrs plus a big signing bonus. These athletes be making some ridiculous money that they aren't even worth.

One Problem, Baltimore has no QB
Dutabi84 03-04-2004, 06:41 PM Give Kyle Boller some time, he'll develope. Especially with a guy like T.O. That'd be funny though if they sign Jeff Garcia.

Dallas should be trying to get Garcia
Brian Damage 03-04-2004, 11:24 PM I heard Peter King of Sports Illustrated say that Garcia will either end up with Cleveland or Tampa Bay.
