In an earlier thread I mentioned (in agreement to Ange's statement) that March was indeed a great "Wings" month (it was the month that NICK started running the series, it was the month of the "Wings" marathons, etc.).....

During the upcoming month of March, we should make a conscious effort to raise the general public's awareness of "Wings". Unfortunately, the series seems to have been forgotten by too many people.

I'm not saying that we should bore people by drumming constant "Wings" discussions into their heads, but we CAN casually mention or refer to the series....just small reminders that may jog people's memories into thinking "Hey yeah, I forgot about "Wings"....That WAS a good show!" (or for the uninformed, "So was "Wings" was a good show? Well, I've never seen it, but I'll try to check it out sometime.").

The more I think about it, the more I think that it could be fun for us to make March "Wings" awareness month!

Alot of clueless people will ask me "Who's that guy on your binder" and I'll go on to recite Thomas Haden Church's whole filmography. Guess what show everybody seems to remember him from...

By the way Ange, regarding that latest photo of Thomas Haden Church that you have on your recent messages (the one where he's wearing the purple shirt)....what show or movie is that from? No offense, but he has such a strange "spaced out" look in his eyes!

Mr. Murder, Part I.

It was on Sci-Fi wednsday and I got framegrabs off of good ol' Caption This! (http://prod.scifi.com/screengrab/caption.cgi) Unfortunately, when you cap something, the gallery doesn't come up like it used to, you need to hit the gallery link :(
It used to be part of the Mystery Science Theater 3000 website, but Sci-Fi recently dropped it from their network.

I need a video capture card so I can get better quality images from his movies that I have on tape (The ones I have on DVD all have grabs now. Thank the DVD-Rom...).

We could all put something about "Wings" in our signatures. Either different things or we could all agree to put the same thing.

I think that's a great idea... I need a sig line quick! It's March 1st!!!

I'm thinking I could pick out a few funny exchanges between characters.

Any suggestions? How about:

Joe: "You are not moving back in."
Brian: "As in Thomas Wolfe - 'You Can't Go Home Again'?"
Joe: "No. As in Joe Hackett - there's a pool table in your bedroom."

Love,

Wing<><

There was another really short funny one that always made me laugh... Helen is saying something like "Am I going to have to stay in this place my whole life, listening to people use one syllable words?" And right then Lowell says, "Good soup. Hot."

LOL!!

Ok, I added to my signature. If the quote is not completely correct, let me know
