Brad Garrett would be tailor made for a movie about Jack Molinas.

In fact when I read The Wizard of Odds, I imagined Brad Garrett as Molinas.

Molinas was a gambler who incurred a lifetime suspension from the NBA and imprisonment from the federal government for fixing college games. He was slayed in an alleged mob hit in August 1975.

The 6'6" Molinas, a graduate of Columbia University, had enough talent to start ahead of George Yardley as a member of the 1953-1954 Fort Wayne Pistons. Yardley became the first player in NBA history to exceed 2000 points in a single season as a Detroit Piston in 1957-1958.

The infamous Molinas, a disbarred lawyer, allegedly masterminded fixes of over 100 college basketball games in the late 50s and early 60s.

A Molinas biography could be a fascinating movie and Brad Garrett would be ideal for the lead role.

I don't think I will like the spin-off. I hate Amy's family and all the episodes dealing with them. The only way I could watch the spin-off is if it still focused on Marie and Frank with Robert.

When ELRaymond ends its run, I'd love to see Brad Garrett have his own show. I think he could pull it off. I think Frank and Marie should be semi-regulars. Amy's family is a hoot, and I would love to see Chris Elliot as a sitcom regular again.

I'd love to see a spinoff, whether it would happen though is another story.
