Hi all! There's a nice surprise on the Season 3 DVD set: a clip of Mary visiting Dick's variety show in the mid 70s. It's nice to have access to this kind of rare footage that we wouldn't otherwise get to see!

I haven't found any cast promo spots yet or original commercials, except the Nick@Nite spots. Are there any?

Where is the "rehearsal footage"? Anyone know?

The footage is from A Day in the Life of Sheldon Leonard, not sure which disc it's on. It's not bloopers like I hoped, but still fun to see!

It is on Disc 3. There is a segment of a documentary about Sheldon Leonard that shows rehearsal footage from the Dick Van Dyke Show. I wish they would have put the entire documentary on there. It looked interesting.

I edited this because I gave the wrong disc information in my original post.

The clip is titled at the beginning as being from The Arthur Godfrey Show that aired 5/1/66. It shows clips of Sheldon working with his I Spy co-stars and looking over film in the editor's moviola w/ Andy Griffith. Then there are a couple of DVD Show clips. One of the clips is from Talk to the Snail, because Henry Gibson is visible on the set, sitting on the couch. Another clip shows a jigsaw puzzle spread out over the dining room table. I don't remember if that's from the same ep, but it likely is.
