I have been emailing Lifetime every day about taking The Division off weekdays and today I got the response below:

Dear Lifetime Viewer:

Hello! Thank you for writing to us about "The Division."

Periodically, we adjust our schedule to give viewers a variety of the programming they love. Due to scheduling changes, "The Division" is no longer being aired weekdays from 4-5 PM (ET/PT). Currently, "The Division," airs Sundays at 9 PM (ET/PT). Thank you very much for your patience and understanding as we make adjustments to our schedule.

To find out the new times of your favorite Lifetime shows, you can
check your local TV listings, or click on the Lifetime TV schedule, which can be easily found on our home page at: www.lifetimetv.com

Lifetime programming is subject to last minute changes. We distribute notices of these changes as quickly as possible, however, due to the deadlines certain periodicals face, it is sometimes not possible to include our scheduling changes.

We apologize for any inconvenience and want to thank you again for taking the time to be in touch with us. Receiving input from our viewers is very helpful and we greatly value your viewership. This season promises to be a great one, so keep watching!

Best regards,

Sydney Plant

I responded that they did not answer my question as to why they removed The Division over Any Day Now or Strong Medicine. If you go to the official message boards at the Lifetime website, The Division is much more popular than Any Day Now and I have counted at least 8 messages since Monday expressing disappointment.

I also love how they say we can check the tv schedule on the website for the most up to date information. They have the episodes up right now as though they are still airing in the afternoon!

I just don't get it.

I haven't gotten a response yet. :( I suppose it doesn't matter, though, because it would be the same as the one posted here. I want to tell them, "Well, ya know what, Lifetime, maybe we LIKE TD better than whatever else you want to run! So we don't care what else you're putting on, it's not TD!" The least they could do is run it instead of the late night Any Day Now! Or heck, at least have let TD go through an entire run of the series before pulling it!

What in hell! That automated response is stupid. People want to know WHY the show isn't airing in the afternoons anymore and all that says is what we already know.

Exactly! We know this already. We're not stupid. We want to know why. How hard is that?

Ditto! I got the same response from Lifetime today. They think we're idiots. I think that they just want us to not notice CD being gone on Sunday nights, so they've pulled the reruns!

Lifetime writers are morons. They need to realize we're pissed.

Yes, they do need to realize that we are pissed. IMO, they are giving up on this show totally. Maybe it is good that Tracey does not have to be around for the demise.

Have the ratings dropped? Is that why the show is going downhill now? I haven't watched much this season because it's not that good. They need to fix the show.

Yes, they need to fix the show.IMO, based on what I have heard, is that many people stopped watching when it was realized they had taken CD off. In my experience, alot of times when shows take off a long time major cast member, essentially replace that character with a younger one, it is a recipe for disaster. I have seen this happen so many times, in different ways. Its like when characters have a baby, or finally "get together"and then the show ends. Now this doesn't happen all of the time(ER for instance has done well with characters leaving, but many shows don't survive.)Why they would take off The Division from the afternoon schedule is beyond me. I think that Any Day Now also airs at a different time, so why show it twice?? I like the movies on Lifetime, and I also like Wild Card and Strong Medicine, but the network is really starting to bug me. I wish we had an address to write to that we wouldn't get some automated response-I would love a response that actually addresses my concerns.

I tried to find a phone number to call and speak to someone personally, but I couldn't find one anywhere on the internet. I think that's pretty rude. Without the viewers, they would be nowhere. We should at least have decent contact information to express our views.

True. Ture. They think that us sending them an e-mail and then them sending an automated response is out way of expressing our views.
