MichaelLutton 02-25-2004, 07:57 PM Nick @ Nite Program Note:
Effective February 25th, "Cheers" will replace "Three's Company" at 1:00AM and 4:00AM Effective, Tuesday, February 24th "All in the Family" replaced "Three's Company" at 1:30AM and 4:30AM. At present, "Three's Company" does not air on Nick at Nite.
Looks Like Nick at Nite just took Threes Company off their line up. which totally sucks mabye it be on tvland. fans need to see John Riters work.he is a legond in tv comedy history.and for Nick n Nite to take off Threes company.down right disrespectfull.

Me too...now all I have is my Season 1 DVD!.:( :( :(
There is already too many showings of Cheers and Rosanne on lots of other channels in this area. There is no need for them to also be on N@N.
Well, here's hoping TC winds up on a friendlier cable channel.

MichaelLutton 02-25-2004, 11:33 PM me 2.Nick at Nite gone down the toops since it started it use to be the best site ever made, and Now Look at it Bill cosby network from now on.if its like that schould be called Trash at Nite.why they bring Beavis Butthead on while they are at it.i feel bad for new shows coming to that Network really do,but what they are doing to Threes company is wrong, really really wrong and just makes me sick to my stomach
tvfan1 03-06-2004, 01:50 AM well, theres a logical explanition for this. threes company is an old show. it ended in 1988. therefore, it belongs on tv land. n@n is trying to be "home of modern tv classics" so, they are going to drop the so called "old shows". my guess is that if n@n is going to drop this show, it will definatly be on tv land within a month. probably on a much earliear timeslot also. so maybe this is a good thing. anyways, even if it never comes on a station, look on the bright side, at least it is coming out on dvd. in a couple of years, you all will own the entire series and will no longer need to watch TC on any station. i for one really enjoy n@n's shows now. i am a TC fan also. but i know that it will be on tv land soon. so CALM DOWN, we have threes company preserved on dvd as well. :D

uh, Three's Company ended in 1984, not '88
tvfan1 03-06-2004, 07:53 PM well, than its older than i thought.
brasspounder 03-06-2004, 11:48 PM But if TC is not airing regularly somewhere with national exposure, how is this going to help DVD sales so that eventually all 8 seasons become available????
chris jacob 03-08-2004, 07:22 PM for anybody who is tciked off at nick at night? the email isss nick at nite @programming.com

I certainly don't know but it's still on N@N.
I do hope that TC is on TVLand soon.

It was '92. I remember Bill Cosby being on the news and telling the people in L.A. to stay at home and watch the finale of the Cosby Show instead of rioting. (during the L.A. riots)

Nobody likes Cheers? Weird. I'm scratching my head trying to figure out why it had a successful eleven-year run and sells well on DVD if nobody likes it.
Enlighten me, Mike.
Cheers is my favorite show, but I think it's a crock of **** that Three's Company was dumped in its favor. Hopefully, Viacom will wise up and bring TC back soon.

brasspounder 03-19-2004, 12:36 AM Nobody likes Cheers?
In my case I do like Cheers, but then there is this thing called overexposure. Right now I can get episodes of Cheers on about 6 different channels during the course of the day! And to have it on both N@N and TVLand!?!?!?
ferrett 03-19-2004, 03:55 AM the network honchos probably figure what ever show can bring in the best ratings they'll air it
even if it does air on another network
