Has anyone seen the trailer for 'The Ladykillers' with Tom Hanks. I cannot wait to see this. It looks so funny. I think he's one of the greatest actors of all time. Anything he does is just great!

I saw the trailer and didn't think it looked too funny, but I really like Tom Hanks so I'm willing to give this a chance. Not to meantion the Coen brothers are doing this film and I absolutely LOVED their last film Intolerable Cruelty with George Clooney and Catherine Zeta Jones. One of my favorite romantic comedies ever. Great movie

It will be a huge hit for Hanks since he is one of the film industry's most bankable and most well-liked stars.

Hanks is a very bankable star. I think Wayans will benefit greatly from working with him.

Especially under the direction of the Coen Bros, this film will probably be very funny.

Marlon is crazy. And funny.

Big Lebowski is one of my alltime favorites, can't wait to see what the Coens have in store for us this time.

Does Tom Hank's character have a southern accent? In the poster, he reminds me of Anthony Hopkins playing Kellogg in 'The Road to Wellville'.

From the previews I've seen, it sounds like he does. That's an accent not all actors can do but Hanks sounds great.

I read that he learned how to do a southern accent while Forrest Gump was being filmed. He learned it from the boy who played the young Forrest. I don't know if it was a southern accent, though, but it was from Alabama.

I am glad to see Tom Hanks in an actual comedy, probably the first one since YOU'VE GOT MAIL. He seems to have forgotten that it was comedies that made him a star in the first place, seems like all of his movies are dramas nowadays, Philadelphia may have given him his first Oscar, but it was movies like Splash, Big and Turner & Hooch that made him a star in day one

However, it's kinda sad seeing the previews because now he's definately an old man, lol

In one of the trailers he says something like, "I'm not absolutely positive I head anythin' atall." and the way he says 'atall' sounds verry southern!
