Nick at Nite hasn't shown this episode in a very long time. At first, I thought it was coincidental "skipping" of episodes, but then, after looking in the 2003 Archives for 3's company (the address to this site: http://jacksbistro.freeservers.com ), I found out that yes, they have been skipping it recently like the Charming Stranger and Going to Pot. The reason I think, I don't know if it really is though, is that the actress who played Jack's date in that episode was murdered in real life (February 2003, around the time N@N started to skip it) I guess N@N doesn't want to show any episode that can get them in trouble, or get them critisized.
also, if you notice in the archive site, around the middle of June, you'll notice that they go out of order (Hearing is Believing is shown before, but in reality, that episode comes after Alias Jack Tripper). Yet, if you just found out, at the exact same time this episode was about to air yesterday (2/24, 1:30 A.M.), they suddenly decided to start airing All In The Family episodes instead! And I'm guessing that N@N, in order to not disappoint viewers, decided to show All In The Family the rest of the week as well, replacing every other scheduled 3's episode. the night before this sudden change, the N@N grid for the week of 22-29 Feb did not indicate AITF on 1:30 A.M. during the week!
A similar thing goes for 52- Moving On. If you look on the archive site for 2003, this episode was last shown in April 2003...then it went 50, 51, ?, 53, 54. Another important note...in the middle of October, Moving On was NOT aired...instead ep 53 Jack Moves Out aired instead! I know the site says 52, but that was also a "last minute change" by N@N! The reason, again I'm not 100% sure, is that this episode does not involve the trio at all, and the 3's company feel is lacked.
I'm sorry I wrote so much and that this might sound a bit confusing, but I tried to be as reasonable as I can to display why N@N is the way it is. Of course, I don't like their "system"!
