I'm new to the forum, just signed up. Sanford & Son is my favorite show! Proud to be aboard.

My question, on the DVD's from the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd seasons, do thay happen to show the closing theme in its entirety? I love it & want to see all of it, uncut and unedited. I remember watching the original first run episodes of Sanford & Son back in the 70's & they would often play most of the closing theme if not all of it. I'll buy the 3 DVD's either way, I just want to relive the closing theme, the whole closing theme. Does anyone of you Sanford & Son fanatics have sentiment for the closing theme as I do? If not on the DVD's, does anyone know where else I may find the complete closing theme?

On T.V. Land, the episode "Fred, the Legal Eagle", shows the greatest portion of the closing theme, but certainly not all of it.
Love the way Fred carries that stick!

Usually the Extended opening and closing themes are shown after the VERY First episode of a show or after the first episode of a new TV season if the credits are different But no it is short on he DVD

If you want the theme song to Sanford and Son you can go to a Best Buy, Circuit City, Borders or any place wher they sell CD's and get Quincy Jones greatest hits on A&M Records. You won't be disappointed!!!

No I can't remember but I think it's about 3 minutes and some seconds. and it's Quincy Jones not James. :)

I think the person is more interested in extended VIDEO footage of the Closing Credis not the song.
