View Full Version : Marathon ideas for N@N and TV Land.
Chocoholic 02-25-2004, 05:24 PM What marathons would you like to see N@N and TV Land do? Here are a couple of my ideas.
Christmas in July- They can air a selection of Christmas episodes for a whole week in July. Maybe they can have a cartoon Santa in a Hawaiian shirt!
Backwards Week- For an entire week, N@N and TV Land can air their schedule backwards.
Crossover Episodes Night- Air episodes where characters from other shows visit.
Any other ideas?
Brent88 02-25-2004, 10:05 PM Well, knowing this is N@N, here you go:
Endless marathons of The Cosby Show. Nothing but The Cosby Show for a whole month.

Don't Scare Me.
Anyway, I like the idea of a crossover marathon. How about a fan's favorite episode week for every show? Or a "Surprise Sampler" of shows that they don't currently show?

Oh yeah, I hadn't thought of that!
The fans' favorite episodes week sounds good too. Maybe they can also have a "First Year on the Air" marathon week, where they air TV shows that they showed the first year those networks were on the air.
Do N@N and TV Land take suggestions from viewers?

You can send emails, but good luck getting listened to. All they seem to do is watch the ratings.

Brent88 02-26-2004, 07:07 PM I don't think marathons of only one show are acceptable over and over again, unless you also run marathons of the other shows.

Are you being sarcastic or serious? The LAST thing we need is a day of nothing but Cosby. That would be sickening! It's bad enough that N@N is in love with it and airs it to no end at night.
Hey, look at the bright side!
It sure beats "That's My Mama"!

Great ideas! :)
How about theme episodes, they could do that during the summer or something. Episodes that have a similar theme(I know N@N has done this before) Just a thought ;)

Cobsy Day
There's an orginal idea.
In that case, I say there should be a Cheers day. :grr:

Oo. I really like that idea. :)
barwars 02-29-2004, 12:05 PM Viewer's Choice Night.
From 7:00pm-1:00am on TVLand.... One lucky viewer decides which episodes to air for the night.
(the episodes must be of shows currently airing on either TVLand or N@N)
And if the viewer is a diehard fan -- you may have to sit through 6 hours of one show.
Whether it be The Cosby Show, Cheers, or All in the Family, etc.
just one question.... what would your episodes be?

No.
Cosby Day.... maybe. (if other shows get a day as well)
but Cobsy Day.... hell no.
Harper49 02-29-2004, 01:40 PM Maybe Just The Ten Of Us should do it for N@N.
Lady T 03-03-2004, 04:19 AM For Father's Day a Marathon of The Courtship of Eddie's Father; for several different reasons and one of them being that it is a great sticom and it has not been in National Syndication for a long while and add a new fan base for the great late actor Bill Bixby....
Dean Winchester 03-05-2004, 05:46 AM before Nick got more "liberal" with episodes (compare them showing Roseanne kissing Mariel Hemingway or DJ masturbating now to them NOT airing episodes of Facts Of Life and Diff'rent Strokes dealing with kidnapping, loss of virginity or suicide), I used to want Nick to have a "Totally Banned" night, where they let their guard down and aired all those infamous episodes they would skip.
