This was on Yahoo Entertainment News:

Emmy winner Jean Smart has been tapped to play John Goodman's wife in CBS' comedy pilot "Center of the Universe," which centers on a family man who tries to keep the peace with his extended Chicago family.

Smart won two Emmys for her appearances on NBC's "Frasier." Her recent credits include the features "Garden State," which was featured at this year's Sundance Film Festival, and "Bringing Down the House" as well as NBC's comedy series "In-Laws."

I can't stand John Goodman. He and Jean Smart don't seem like a likely couple.

John Goodman is ok, but not with Jean Smart. I guess I just cannot imagine him being with anyone but Roseanne not a beautiful, sophisticated woman like Jean Smart.

Best of luck to Jean in this new show. This will be her 3rd attempt at another sitcom since "Designing Women" and John Goodman's 2nd attempt at another sitcom since "Roseanne."

Jean is a fabulous actress, but history has shown that it's very difficult and pretty rare to be a regular in 2 successful TV shows. I wish her the best anyway.

John Goodman guest starred in The West Wing in the past year, but he hasn't had a sitcom so good luck to them both!

Truth be told, I don't like either of them that well. I've never been a huge fan of Jean's acting, and her role on DW was that of sort of a Rose Nylund wannabe, and it didn't work...Delta was the star, she's the one who should have a new show :(
