So how long do you think until they release a Wings DVD set... I'm still waiting. Even Gilligans Island has seasons on DVD now, it's about time for Wings.

Cheers/Frasier - Season 1 Cheers/Frasier - Season 2 Cheers/Frasier - Season 3 Cheers/Frasier - Season 4 / Wings - Season 1 Cheers/Frasier - Season 5 / Wings - Season 2 Cheers/Frasier - Season 6 / Wings - Season 3 Cheers/Frasier - Season 7 / Wings - Season 4 Cheers/Frasier - Season 8 / Wings - Season 5 Cheers/Frasier - Season 9 / Wings - Season 6 Cheers/Frasier - Season 10 / Wings - Season 7 Cheers/Frasier - Season 11 / Wings - Season 8 Just a thought though. EricIdlefan 02-25-2004, 03:44 AM Betcha it will cost like near $100 for each set to get but it will be well-worth it!! AngeFaitore 02-25-2004, 07:10 AM I'm sick to death of waiting to add them to my Thomas Haden Church DVD collection which is meger because his movies are hard-to-find and I don't enjoy doing ALL my shopping online. Sometimes I'd like to go out to the store and physically get the disc. At times I hate the revolution of online shopping... I'm still waiting for 'Ned and Stacey' to find it's way onto DVD. I think not Sony should release it, but CBS/Fox should (look how well 'Short Circuit' has been doing on VHS and DVD for the last 18-19 years and it was a Sony movie and CBS/Fox has had the video rights for YEARS). Sony seems to to hate releasing their own library titles for some reason. I wanted to get the 'Frasier' set a while ago, but it's too damned expensive. I think why all these two-to-four disc sets are so inflated is because 'The Simpsons' was one of the first shows to hit DVD and those were terribly overpriced so the trend followed. I remember when you could buy a series on VHS from Columbia House and in the ads (in TV Guide, during the mid-90s), the whole series was around a hundred or more and a single season was around twenty to thirty dollars. At times I hate the DVD business. It's sort of a scam. So aren't compact discs (which are becoming MORE expensive because of dumb kids who do nothing but download 'free' music). spunkygirl 02-26-2004, 12:59 AM Originally posted by AngeFaitore I'm sick to death of waiting to add them to my Thomas Haden Church DVD collection which is meger because his movies are hard-to-find and I don't enjoy doing ALL my shopping online. How much does the Frasier DVD set run? I know I've read that the Boy Meets World DVD's will run about $39 which is reasonable, and if I buy it at Wal Mart or Target it will only be about $29 :) I'm hoping that if Wings gets released it will be about the same price :) AngeFaitore 02-26-2004, 06:43 AM Originally posted by Topanga Really? Usually, 'The Simpsons' will very by episode list length. I think when I last saw Season 3, it was either $40 or $50. Season 1, so far, has been the cheapest one ($30). |
