i read in the newspaper that yahoo is gonna try to phase out google and make their search engine better. does anyone have any more info on this? cause if its true its funny as hell.

Right now, Yahoo!'s search engine is powered by Google. Prior to 2002, they used AltaVista (I think).

What they're trying to do is cut out the middle man and create their own engine. That's all.
