NBC is going to end will & Grace after the contracts for the casts and next season. Another reason why W&G will end is because the high production costs and less storylines in which are starting to wear thin. I have a good feeling that W&G Will close it's doors after May 2005. I do however believe that it will probably join That '70s Show and call it quits probably because Debra Messing probably said during the Golden Globe Awards. I think you might just take a big break after about 7 years on the air don't you think? I also believe that W&G's contract for all the charecters end after next year.

That's sad, it's one of only three or four shows i watch regularly, but you can't go on forever and they were a riot and they are bringing them out on DVD so like I Love Lucy, we'll have them forever. Four of the best rounded characters ever to be shown on TV, and one of the few TV shows that actually make me laugh!

I really don't think it will. I recently read an article where Debra said they will probably go a couple more years. I thought I read it here, but maybe not.

It will likely end in May 2005. I heard her announcement during the Golden Globes andI had confirmed that it will end at that time. :(

You probably misunderstood. She said that it is still good enough to go a couple more seasons. She even implied this last night at the SAG awards.

OK. But I am saddened by the fact that the other show that I get in syndication paired with W&G, That '70s Show may end next year. :( :( But I think '70s may go on until 2006. That is if the whole cast decides to go on until then. But for W&G I think your'e right. I'm very sorry.:D

:D If by a miracle, W&G might go into 2008. But I think lately, the new episodes are kind of bland. Will, Jack and Karen are OK but Grace has seemed kind of bland since last season's finale and I do believe her breakup with Leo. I know this might not be that big, but I think this might be noticed doing down the road that is if the show still goes on strong which I do believe it will. :happyface

I hope it doesn't end, but yeah I'm pretty sure I heard it'll last for at least another couple of years...

I think W&G has been showig some signs of wear this season, and they should wrap the show up within the next season.

It would be a sham if they burned the show out and it had to be cancelled becasue of falling ratings.

No offense but I think King of Queens and 2 1/2 men are bland comedies and that they are boring and relentless. Besides I would sleep 1/2 hour to watch KoQ because it really wasn't a funny comedy to begin with.

Eric McCormack said himself that after the 8th season (Which would be the Spring of 2006), they will all decide whether the show will still go on.

With Friends, Frasier, Sex and the City, Everybody loves Raymond leaving after this season combined with the slew of 100's of new awful TV shows coming in and out, we need Will and Grace more than ever.

Don't forget "That '70s Show". I do believe that though they say that that show will go on another year, I think if they feel the show's popularity can go on until at least 2006 just like W&G! All being if NBC doesn't shove it to the can just like what they did with Just Shoot Me! '70s and W&G we need now more than ever.

I do think it will probably end in May 2005 because I think the contract is up then. Plus I have heard rumors that their are some shakeups in the writing cast. If it ends it looks to join other fellow long running shows that will be ending in 2005 such as NYPD Blue, That 70s Show, and Everybody Loves Raymond.

BUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXX! Your'e all liar's and dead wrong!!! NBC now has confirmed that next season wil be Will & Grace's last season now according to Variety!

You want to know the proof in the pudding? Here it is!

at the golden globes, joan rivers interviewed debra and she said that next season is officially their last year.
When an official cast member saying that this will get cancelled. It is most likely true and that is what I will go by!

Yeah, I'm with you. I really think after the big Friends/Frasier falldown on NBC, W&G will most likely follow because the later episodes remind me of what is going on up in SF with the gay marriage, high expectations and most likely, expensive production costs. Plus the storylines of some episodes are not as exciting as it used to be. I really think that after next year, '70s, W&G, NYPD, and ELR will pack their bags and go.

Sorry, but their current contracts and NBC only picked up the series through next season. It will likely join '70s Show, King of the Hill, Simpsons, ELRaymond, and NYPD Blue as part of more shows that are ending next season. So like it or not, it will go away.:(

I don't really think that can be determined right now. There would be a big thing about it if next season was officially their last. That decision probably won't come until late in the season.

OK, we'll since I know my two buddies Ashton Kutcher and Topher Grace says that next season may be the last for That '70s Show unless they sign on for a 1 year extension though 2006, I think W&G though NBC needs it more than ever just what do you think of the good chences of That '70s Show moving from FOX to NBC and having '70s and W&G air together? Maybe the only thing that is similar for '70s & W&G is Kitty Forman and Karen Walker? Their laughs and chukles are the most similar! What do you think? :D Read the article down here:

"That '70s" Era Over?

by Lia Haberman
Jan 29, 2004, 2:00 PM PT

Stash the Tab, eight-tracks and Vista Cruiser. The '70s are over.

Common knowledge to the rest of us, the time warp's just catching up to the cast of Fox's That '70s Show.

Cast members Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher are not expected to return after their seventh, and apparently final, season in 2005, according to several reports.

During interviews to promote his new film, Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!, Grace told reporters that he and Kutcher were going to quit after the current season but decided to stick around an extra year.

And they're not the only ones who want the leisure suit decade to come to a close. "We're doing one more year and after that then we will probably be done," costar Wilmer Valderrama, told the New York Post. "After seven years of doing the same character, you sort of want to take a break."

The cast's contracts expire after the 2004-05 season.

Not willing to comment on the reports, a Fox spokesperson said, "It's been picked up through next year but nothing's been decided beyond that."

The sitcom, revolving around Wisconsin teen Eric Forman and his wacky family and friends, debuted in 1998. While never a top 10 Nielsen placer, the show has consistently attracted coveted young viewers.

More than anything, the laffer's served as a springboard for Kutcher and Grace.

Hailed as the show's breakout star, Kutcher's parlayed his small-screen success into feature film roles, his own reality series and a relationship with Demi Moore.

While the Dude Where's My Car? star pulled the plug on MTV's Punk'd this year he is expected to return to the music network with another improv series, My New Best Friend, later this year.

Currently starring in the dark thriller The Butterfly Effect, Kutcher had the last laugh when his movie, widely panned, came in first at the box office, debuting with a take of $17 million last weekend.

Grace, the TV show's leading man, didn't fare as well in the box-office battle against Butterfly. Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! also opened last weekend but failed to pull in more than $7 million.

But, in general, Grace has received more critical acclaim for his acting chops in movies such as Traffic and Mona Lisa Smile.

He recently wrapped the romantic comedy P.S. opposite Laura Linney, which he'll follow up with Synergy, a movie written and directed by Chris and Paul Weitz (About a Boy). The comedy, which begins production in March, also stars Dennis Quaid and Scarlett Johansson.

Update: Variety now reports that NBC has now made it official Will & Grace though people claiming that it will go on through 2006 will be upending the show at the end of next season due to high abnd expensive production costs for the show. Though it will be a dud that the show is ending and as thought it will be filling in Friends' shoes it will but only until next season! Now I can say that it is official that Will & Grace is ending next seson! That is final! Sorry if this disappointed you guys!

I don't want Will&Grace to end either, but I honestly rather see it end good than to see it end dragged out and struggle for lines, I'd rather have known that Will&Grace was a great show, even to the end:)

BTW I am new here sorry just to but in:p

Hi There. Yeah I don't blame you W&G was good for the first 4 1/2 seasons but the show is losing lots of steam since the Grace/Leo storyline so chances are it will end next year. Plus I know for a fact that the creators are having a dispute finiancially. So It would most likely leaving it's doors just like '70s Show. Their show should end next year. But I just don't really know that for sure.

Now that the season finale is over, how can you predict the final episode of Will & Grace come next year. (Sorry but I havve to do this!)
