You'll only got 43 days until the Yankees regular season begins.

How long before ARod is the Yankee shortstop and Jeter is whining like a cat who had his tail stepped on? :D

Jeter better have an awsome year if he doesn't want that to happen.

I doubt it will happen. Alot of people are trying to find controversy.

Bill Madden's column in today's Daily News mentions some of the less then flattering things A-Rod has said about his buddy Jeter in previous interviews.
I think the reporters are going to be fanning flames all season.

 Very true.

Baseball excites me just like basketball and football excite Solomon. Everybody has their favorite sports. I like to go to ball games and see famous players. I also love it when players hit a home run or throw no-hitters or put up really good stats. I can see where Solomon is coming from here. Some people often assume that it is boring because "nothing much happens." It may sound weird but a good old fashioned pitchers duel (i.e. a 0-0 lead over 7 or 8 innings) is thrilling. Stuff does happen in it and that is what keeps most fans watching. In fact, I know that a number of fans prefer those kinds of games over games with a final score that sounds like something you'd read out of a football game box score. So it is my favorite sport the same way that football and basketball are Solomon's favorite sports. Everybody has different tastes.

I got to tour Petco Park today. That place is tons better than Qualcomm Stadium. Even the farthest seats in the ballpark were closer than those at Qualcomm Stadium. I can't wait.

I think the Padres will have a decent year. They'll probably be a second place team.

Brian

Barring injuries, I think they will do well, too. I'm surprised the other teams in the division didn't do much. I think that will help the Pads.

The only real team in your division to watch out for is San Fran, however, even they look a little weak.

I used o be so passionate about baseball a decade ago, then came back to it when I lived in Montreal and got to go to alot of Expos games.

My interest in baseball will expire when the Expos fold this season. The treatment of that team is a black mark for baseball

One can only hope. A Cubs-Sox world series would be the greatest thing to happen to baseball in years.
