I saw my first episode of Sex in the City the other day....
and it has got to be one of the most OVERRATED shows of all time.

Its more "shock-factor" than laughs.
And even the "shocks" werent that great.

The best thing about Sex in the City is that parody they did on SNL last night.

Agreed. All the hype caused me to watch it, but it turned out to be not funny at all and dumb. I just don't like Fox shows.

well, if you saw the episode last week, you saw the second to last episode, things are winding down. It's like judging the entire run of Friends on the last few episodes.

Go back and rent season 2 or 3 and you'll understand why people are going to miss this show so much. That was when the show was hilarious, it's gotten more dramatic in latter seasons (i.e., Miranda's pregnancy, Samantha getting breast cancer, etc...)

Maybe you're right.
Ill check it out when it comes to TBS.... but if it gets botched up like "The Larry Sanders Show" did.... then I dont think Ill ever like it.

Friends
The X-Files
Sex and the City
Will & Grace

While I did like Everybody Loves Raymond up until the last season or two, I've never understood the hype. I never thought it was ever that funny.
