Does anyone have any info on the story about the boyfriend killed when he pulled off the freeway to confront a man who was following his girlfriend??

This was a scary story. A women was driving home late one night in San Jose CA. She was on the freeway when an unknown man in an orange muscle car sped up behind her threating to run her off the road.

Her boyfriend saw this and they both pulled off on a side street hoping he would pass. He didnt. The stranger followed them and stopped his car behind them. When her boyfriend got out to argue, he was viciously shot.

What is the latest on this terrifying case??

That segment was shown a few months ago and there was no update. That is such a haunting story. the name of the man that was shot was Dick Hanson. His girlfriend's license plate read 49RHUGS, and a theory is that maybe the shooter hated the San Francisco 49'ers and thought Dicks Hanson was a football player.

Ive often wondered how often people with vanity plates get harrassed or questioned (Ive never had one) but this story does kinda make you wonder if it isnt a good idea.
