I think I have to go with the tomboy Darlene. She still had the dry sarcastic comments but it was really toned down.

4-7 cause she reminds me so much of myself!~

Its difficult to choose because while all the Darlene's were great, they were also so good because it showed her development.

Teen Darlene from seasons 4-7.

I like little girl Darlene. Teen Darlene was a depressing character.

I think Darlene was great from the episode Like a Virgin and until the show ended.

I liked her SO much better after she left her "tomboy" stage. It was nice to see her starting to act like a girl. She really is attractive when she doesn't have her hair in a ponytail and wears boys clothes. When she was an adult, she got a little annoying. She just went from funny sarcasm to CONSTANT sarcasm, and it wasn't funny anymore.

I voted for the tomboy Darlene. She was funny, cute, and even sporty.

I didn't really like the early depressed teen Darlene. That year before she met David. She was just unbareable and wouldn't do anything. This is my least-liked.

The second one I like is the mature Darlene. She was finally able to shell out and grow into responsiblilty, so I can only imagine what her further life would've been with raising a baby.

Darth Darlene. I went through a stage like that where i was extremly depressed and wanted to be all dark and wear black. I still have the depression but don't wear ALL black anymore.

I guess I like Darlene from seasons 4-9 better than her as a child on the show, but I think she was less annoying as a child. I find her unbearable sometimes in the later episodes, but still think she's funny. She's best in small doses.

I liked teen Darlene the most. She was annoying in the first ep where she slipped into her depression, but she gradually toned down and became perkier, especially when she met David.

Grown Darlene was cool too, she started to dress more feminine & it did a world of a big difference. She was cute with some of the clothes she had on.

Darlene is my favorite character on the show. This was the only character on there that had shown growth as they got older. Darlene is a very complex character. Sara Gilbert did good in her portrayal of Darlene Connor.

I enjoyed Darlene in all of her incarnations, but I'm particularly fond of teenaged Darlene, coping with her daily angst with pitch-perfect sarcasm and her incredibly quick wit... :lol:

teen darlene althou i loved tomboy darlene i related to her then and the teen darlene.^types this as she watches roseanne season 1.
