AOL sucks. It just took me a half an hour to get online. :cuss:

since we're on the subject of aol, mine will not let me on it says theres an error catagory 4 and error code 1. does anyone know what this means and how i can fix it?

I am thinking about switching to AOL because I tried to log in message boards with Hotmail/MSN but they deny taking both of those because of free servers/spam!!

I don't have AOL itself, but I do have a screenname for AOL Instant Messenger.

Don't do it. At this point I'm begging my dad to get a new program. I hate AOL.

I have AOL and with my cable modem I have no problems :D

We got ours last January(2003) when we moved here because they don't have dialup here, and it is AWESOME! The only thing I hate is Charter goes out sometimes for no reason. Other than that, it's VERY fast. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

We had dialup before that since we first got a computer for Christmas 1999 and it SUCKED! It tied up the phone lines, was slow, and you had to connect everytime you wanted to get on. I used to not get on the computer much back then, now I'm addicted. I spend WAY too much time on this thing. I'm afraid it's going to blowup one day. LOL :lol:

I've had it since 2001, I was using my laptop in bed though and that doesn't have the cable modem. :)

My desktop comp has cable though and I love it. I'll pm you at lunch.
