DIFFEREnt CAST(no mrs mahoney), DIFFERENT OPENING?CLOSING SCENES/the first four episodes aired at the end of the 78/79 season whilst the remaining 9 episodes aired in the spring/80 of the 79/80 season and there is a huge difference in the length of natalie's hair between episodes 1-4 and 5-13
i thought molly's women's lib character was ok/but mostly irritating...I think they didn't utilize Nancy's character that much during season one...and the girls (NANCY SUE ANN AND CINDY) were meaner/funnier in the later episodes(SEASON TWO< THREE AND EIGHT)

season one was cool too...tootie on skates...tootie alot more sassier!...tootie had more attitude(i thought they changed tootie"s character to the point where blair/jo had all the lines)!...BLAIR was meaner(the pilot she was smoking cigarettes and in episode one she was downright cruel IMPLYING THAT cindy WAS a lesbian(there is a scene in season one where blair looks at herself in the mirror and the audience sounded like they were "booing" her)(laugh track)..nATALIE AND TOOTIE WERE THE FUNNIEST AND THEY ALWAYS HUNG AROUND EACH OTHER...CINDY HAD NO CHARACTER AT ALL(it was the scripts and too many actresses)

Technically, they are 1 season.. but there was a pretty long time between when they shot the first 4 episodes and episodes 5-13, so that would account for the growth of some of the cast members and Mindy Cohn's hair length. The first 4 were shot in the spring of 1979 and the next 9 were shot most likely in the fall of 1979.
