Last night I was watching the season 1 DVD episode about Raj and Dee's father returning. Apparently this guy walked out on the family when Dee was 4 weeks old. He hasn't seen his kids in years, yet in the episode, he's back one day and starts kissing on Mabel...and the kicker is, SHE LET"S HIM! What's the deal with that?!?

Brian you should know why the mother let him kiss her.

My only assumption was because she was very lonely.

My point is the show wrote her as a strong independent woman, yet in that episode she was made to be the fool.
