Does Anyone like Guiding Light? I really enjoy watching it.

I try to watch Guiding Light as often as I can. It's one of 5 soaps I follow. When DAYS comes to SoapNet, I'm gonna quit taping DAYS in the daytime & start taping GL everyday. I wish SoapNet would get the rights to air GL in the evening, since they air same-day episodes of the other 4 current soaps I follow. Haven't seen GL in a few weeks, but it I read the synopses everyday & it sounds like its been getting really good lately.

I like watching it. Right now the plots really intresting!

I really began to get into GL in 1994, and stopped watching religiously around the time Joan Collins left the show (she was Alexandra Spaulding). I just can't handle this show that's full of spoiled teens that get involved in just downright stupid storylines. I gave it another whirl about a year ago, and Iwas driven to tears because for most of the episode, I was force fed Olivia and Cassie gossiping and carrying on at the front desk of Olivia's hotel. I mean, come on, the stories need more spark. Didn't the actress who played Aunt Meta die nearly THREE YEARS AGO? Can the writers of the show please acknowledge this somehow?

Yep! I watch Guiding Light...I'm a COOPER fan! Buzz is my favorite character - ever since he came to town on February 9, 1993! But I have to say that I've been a HARLEY fan since I was little, and Jenna Bradshaw fanatic! http://img11.photobucket.com/albums/v34/TroyandLindseyFan/bow.gif

Guiding Light is one of my favorite TV programs.

I like to watch it. Been watching it since I was a kid. However I dont think its as good as it used to be. About 20 some odd years ago it was amazing how good GL was.

Roger Thorpe is my all time favorite GL character.


One sad thing is the Bauers were the longest running family on the show, and now we seldom see Rick.
