The wonderful world of Math....Not really. I'm in my third year at a community college, and I'mjust taking my general classes there, then I pan on going to a four year college outta state. Right now I'm on my final test for Algebra 2. I'm praying I pass! It looks like I will. :) I still have two more Math classes I need to take. I'm learning more and more in math which is challenging, and sorta rewarding, but I'm sick of it too! I mean when am I gonna really use all this math, unless I was going into a major with a lot of math, but I don't think I am. I haven't picked my major yet, but I have some ideas. I'm taking all these general classes to gain knowledge, but mainly to transfer to a four year college. I can't really go to four year college without having enough general classes. I tried gettinf into a University in the state I live in, but they told me I was partially accepted, but not totallty accepted because I needed more Math. How can someone be partially accepted? To me it's either you are accepted or you're not accepted. Sp, Im trying to take enough general classes, and then talk to the colleges I want to go to before I apply to their school. I think it sticks that a lot of colleges won't accept someone unless they have enough of each general class, and that most colleges won't accet some of your credits if the subects are lower than the 100s and on. Take me for example I had to take Math 095, Math 097, Math 098, but I still have to take Math 122-Intermediate Algebra and Math 132, because those are the only two math classes I'm sure any college would accept, and they would not accept the ones before that. I think that is messed up. I'm glad there are community colleges in the US that will most likely accept anyone regardless of their past educational stuff!
