Review (out of 5 stars):
Video quality: 4.5/5
Audio quality: 4.5/5
Special Features: N/A
Menu Navigation: 4.5/5
Overall: 4/5
Thoughts:
This disc contains 4 random episodes from the series two year run (1952-1954)
in syndication: "The Politician," "Public Enemies," "From Bed to Worse," and
"Car Trouble." The series is just as funny today as it was 50 years ago. The
picture quality is good considering the series is over 50 years old and that 1978
syndication prints are being used. Audio quality is also very good. There are
no special features at all. Possibly some original commercials or something
similar would have been effective. The main menu was very easy to navigate, but
I found the "Scene Access" page somewhat confusing as it was difficult to tell the
episode titles from the chapter titles. Overall, however, I found the disc very
enjoyable and would recommend it to any Abbott & Costello fan.
