The above photo is an actual tv still of The George Burns Show.
The George Burns Show aired from October 1958 until April 1959 on NBC.
Following his wife Gracie's retirement from show business, George Burns attempted a series of his own, including most of the regulars from the highly successful Burns And Allen Show. George played a theatrical producer beset with the usual problems of casting, booking, eccentric stars and a complement of helpful friends who tended to create more problems than they solved. Blanch ( Bea Benaderet) was George's secretary; Harry ( Larry Keaton), her husband; and Harry Von Zell, a bumbling friend. George's real life son Ronnie also appeared in the series, while Judi Meredith portrayed an aspiring actress who was Ronnie's steady girlfriend. Although Gracie Allen did not appear on this program, she was referred to. Blanche was a close friend of Gracie's and as such was always trying to keep George from becoming involved with the attractive young starlets he constantly met-including a certain sexy secretary named Miss Jenkins. ( Lisa Davis).
Beginning in December and running through mid-February 1959, the format was altered to include a live variety show, within almost every episode, featuring the regular cast and guest stars.
