Poster: Stuck In The '70's
(see this users gallery) The Montefuscos aired from September-October 1975 on NBC.
This short-lived series was about Tony Montefusco ( Joe Sirola), a boisterous , middle-class Italian, living in Connecticut, who had his entire family over for dinner every Sunday night. The subjects that came up and situations that developed at, prior to, and following Sunday dinner provided the stories of this series. Tony's wife Rose ( Naomi Stevens ), his 3 sons and one daughter, and their families made up the entire cast. Frankie ( Ron Carey ) was a dentist, Joseph ( John Aprea) a priest and Nunzio ( Sal Viscuso) an unemployed actor, while Angela ( Linda Dano) was married to Jim Cooney ( Bill Cort), the tolken WASP. Theresa ( Phoebe Dorin ) was Frankie's wife.
Carmine, Jerome and Gina ( Jeffrey Palladini, Robby Paris, Dominique Pinassi) were Frankie's children and Anthony Patrick ( Damon Raskin) was Angela's son. |
