Willy aired from September 1954 until July 1955 on CBS.
Following her graduation from law school, Willa Dodger ( June Havoc)opened a legal practice in her hometown of Renfrew, New Hampshire. There were not many exciting cases in that little hamlet so, in mid-season, Willa got an offer to work as legal cousel to a vaudeville organization run by Perry Bannister ( Hal Peary). She left her family which included sister Emily (Mary Treen) Nephew Franklin ( Danny Richards Jr.) and Papa( Lloyd Corrigan) and her boyfriend Charlie Bush ( Whitfield Connor) who was a veterinarian, and relocated to the big city. Her adventures, whether in rural New England or Cosmopolitan New York , where on the lighter side and rarely involved her in serious legal cases.
Filmed at Desilu Studios, the series was produced by June Havoc's husband Bill Spier.
