The San Pedro Beach Bums aired from September until December 1977 on ABC.

An Unsuccessful attempt at an hour sitcom, this knockabout series was about five carefree young " beach bums" in sunny California, living on a houseboat called " Our Boat." The five boys who had been buddies since their high school days, where the ever confidant Buddy ( Christopher Murney), self- proclaimed leader of the group; the shy and nervous Dancer ( so named because he couldn't sit still. He was played by John Mark Robinson); Stuf ( Stuart Pankin), a compulsive eater that believed that heavy is beautiful; the muscular, but very gentile Moose ( Darryl McCullough); and Boychick ( Chris De Rose), the beach bums' answer to Clark Gable. Also featured were Christoff St. John as Ralphie; Susan Mullen as Suzie; Louise Hoven as Louise; Lisa Reeves as Margo and Nancy Morgan as Julie. Arron Spelling and Douglas S. Cramer were the executive producers; the pilot for the series, " The San Pedro Bums," was telecast on May 13, 1977.
