Hee Haw Honeys ran during the 1978-1979 season in syndication.
A half-hour sitcom set at Honey's Club, a small restaurant in Nashville, this series was spun off from Hee Haw. The five members of the cast appeared as operators of the club. Lulu and Kenny Honey ( Lulu Roman, Kenny Price), were the parents of good ol' boy Willie ( Gailard Sartain), sexy Misty ( Misty Rowe), and cute Kathie ( Kathie Lee Johnson). Lulu and Kenny were the owners, Willie was the cook and Misty and Kathie waited on tables and also sang there. A regular feature of the show was the appearance of guest stars from the world of country and western music, who stopped by to sing a number or two at the club. Among them were Loretta Lynn, The Oak Ridge Boys, Conway Twitty, and the Statler Brothers. The young actress who played Kathie Honey was Kathie Lee Johnson who years later would co-host the morning talk show Live With Regis And Kathie Lee under her now married name of Kathie Lee Gifford.
