Another of tv's periodic attempts to find comedy in breaking those silly imigration laws ( another example was I Married Dora ). Billy ( Billy Connolly), was a college instructor from Scotland who " forgot to renew his visa" and was about to be deported when Mary ( Marie Marshall), one of his students mentioned that she desperately needed a boarder for her basement apartment in order to make ends meet. So Billy married Mary, got his green card, and she got her boarder. Her rules: He stayed in the basement, and their would be no drinking, smoking, pets, or sex. Marriage was just a formality.
Marrying an alien for the purpose of avoiding deportation may be illegal, but divorcee Mary's 3 kids, girl-chasing David ( Johnny Galecki), and musically inclined Laura and Annie (Natanya Ross, Clara Bryant), thought the ebullent Billy was pretty neat, even as he provided a much-needed father figure and taught them little lessons in life.
Billy was a spin-off from Head Of The Class in which the character Billy McGregor had appeared as a substitute History Teacher.

every photo if you are registered and logged in. This is the quickest and easiest method. You can also
send an e-mail with the url of the photo(s). We will also gladly credit or
link to any site that is the original source of any photos.
