Baby Blues aired on THe WB from July until September 2000.
The tribulations of a young married couple were the center of this rather bland animated comedy. Darryl ( Voice of Mike O'malley)was a wimpy red haired office worker who had irontic fantasies and Wanda ( Julia Sweeney), his sensible wife. Zoe ( Elizabeth E.G. Daily) was their cute baby daughter who constantly presented them with parenting challenges , from nursing to napping. Adding a bit of color were their white-trash next door neighbors , Carl ( Joel Murray), a loud, chunky slob who installed sprinkler systems and his chain-smoking wife Melinda (Arabella Field). Their 3 kids who paid no attention to Carl's rants were hell raiser Rodney ( Kath Soucie), giggling Megan ( Kath Soucie also), and 4 year old Shelby who never spoke. Wanda and Melinda were good friends but Darryl couldn't stand the pushy Carl. Kenny ( Diedrich Bader) was Darryl's best friend at work, constantly belittling his buddies efforts to work things out at home, despite the fact that his own family life was no bargain. Bizzy ( Nicole Sullivan ) was the Macphearson's baby-sitter, a boy-crazy teenager with horrible taste in men.
Eight episodes aired on The WB , with five more premiering on the cartoon network in January 2002. Based on the comic strip " Baby Blues" by Rick Kirkman and Jerry Scott.
